In colonial days La Hacienda de Los Morales was one of the most important properties in the western part of the Valley of Mexico. The first mulberry trees were planted on the site for an incipient silkworm industry. The Hacienda took its name from the Spanish name for mulberry trees, and it was known for four centuries as Los Morales.

Today, after four centuries, La Hacienda de Los Morales transports the visitors through history to a magnificent restaurant with international cuisine and Mexican specialties. The Mexican style garden makes La Hacienda de Los Morales a special retreat in the city.
