Ballet Folklórico de México

In 1952, Amalia Hernández, dancer and choreographer, founded the world renowned Ballet Folklórico of México, offering a visual feast of Mexican regional folk dances in whirling colors. Talent and professionalism being the keywords, her dance company exhibits lavish and best show worldwide. These shows are brilliantly choreographed and deal in diverse themes.

With its first practice session on January 2, l989, the company has contributed in a very positive way to the union of the Mexican community, expanding culture through colorful and vibrant dances that develop dramatically through each presentation.

It comprises of over 60 members and technical staff, plus musicians, costumes, designed and elaborated by Nino Carrillo in the most authentic form known today. With at least three instructors direct from Mexico it ensures an authentic repertoire.

Sunday at 9:30 AM and 8:30 PM
