I recently visited Mexico for Christmas and the trip included a stop in Acapulco. I was really excited about seeing the resort city, as I have never been. I was over it almost as soon as i arrived. The city is huge, sprawling, crowded, dirty, and the most touristy place I've ever been. Burger King, Wal Mart, and even several Hooters are speckled down the city's main strip. If you are like me, and don't find this the least big relaxing or enlightening, you may want to rethink your trip to Acapul
