Off in Chiapas, I missed the massive annual Pride Parade in downtown Mexico City, but Cesar Arellano has photos. Check them out here and here and here. It was the 30th anniversary of the first gay march in Mexico City, which happened in 1978, at a time when gay activists were spied upon and even killed for their work, as La Jornada reminds us.
