Museo Nacional de Historia specializing in Mexican art and culture is located in the Castle of Chapultepec and has served as everything from a military academy to the home of the Mexican president.

The 20 halls in the two- story building showcase the most relevant political and social changes Mexico has undergone throughout its history.

The 10 interconnecting domes that form the Museum of Natural History contain stuffed and preserved animals and birds.

Some of the halls have murals by such talented Mexican artists such as Eduardo Solares, Juan O'Gorman, David Alfaro Siqueiros and Jorge Gonzalez Camarena.

Exhibits on geology, astronomy, biology, and the origin of life as well as classical music concerts are also held here.
