Budget Rent a Car

Budget Rent A Car was founded in 1958 as a car rental company for the budget- minded renter and is wholly- owned subsidiary of Cendant Corporation (NYSE: CD), a diversified global provider of business and consumer services primarily within the travel and real estate sectors. Budget Rent a Car started operations in Mexico in 1996.

Operating in about 1900 locations worldwide including 100 offices in Mexico itself, its main aim is to offer all the customers an integral service through the development of customized strategies while building healthy relationships with every client.

At present it has 3200 rental offices in over 120 countries, 930 airports, 2200 rental offices in business zones and residential areas and 70 in several points of sale.

With a fleet of around 275,000 vehicles, Budget accounts for the biggest and latest fleet of vehicles ranging from small compact to premium luxury cars, intermediate standard full- size SUVs to special convertible mini vans etc.
